The U.S Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC) has just reissued a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for Extramural Medical Research, for the upcoming fiscal year. Research funded through the BAA is intended and expected to benefit and inform both military and civilian medical practice and knowledge.

Areas of interest cover Infectious Diseases, Combat Casualty Care, Military Operational Medicine, Clinical and Rehabilitative Medicine, Medical Biological Defense Research, Medical Chemical Defense Research, Radiation Health Effects, etc.

The USAMRMC’s mission is to provide solutions to medical problems of importance to the American warfighter. Projects must pertain to at least one of the research areas of interest outlined in the BAA.

Funding:

Budgets are not capped and must reflect the scope of the work.
Funding can be requested for up to 5 years.
