Hoosier Healthcare Innovation Challenge Just Around the Corner

The Hoosier Healthcare Innovation Challenge is just around the corner on July 13 and YOU WON’T WANT TO MISS IT!

This first-of-its-kind event promises to bring together some of the most innovative leaders in Indiana’s robust healthcare, technology, and entrepreneurial communities. It is exactly this type of cross-sector collaboration we believe will improve patient care, reduce healthcare costs, and solidify Indiana’s standing as the premiere location for health IT innovation.

This potent mixture of technology and healthcare is nothing new to the Hoosier State. In fact, Indiana has been leading the innovation in healthcare revolution since the Regenstrief Institute, the developer of the original electronic medical record, opened its doors in Indianapolis in 1969. Today, Central Indiana is home to five specialty and primary care health systems – the Indiana Health Information Exchange (IHIE) – the nation’s largest electronic medical exchange, and world-renown centers of learning including the Indiana University Schools of Medicine and Informatics, Purdue University, Butler University, and the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. With those resources at hand, Indiana is uniquely positioned to be a global leader in health IT innovation.

Please join us on July 13th for the Hoosier Healthcare Innovation Challenge as we build upon Indiana’s proud tradition of innovation in healthcare IT. With your participation and the collaboration of healthcare and technology leaders across the state, we can begin to the lay the foundation for the next generation of Indiana’s great healthcare innovators.
