India is emerging as a promising market for U.S. medical sector firms as the Indian health care industry rapidly expands and evolves to provide for its growing population. The mission will focus on introducing suppliers to prospective partners whose needs and capabilities are targeted to each U.S. participant’s strengths.  Participants will have the opportunity to visit Indian healthcare facilities to become acquainted with the workings and varied standards of care available, and learn directly about trade and industry regulations.

•Pre-scheduled meetings with potential partners, distributors, end users, or local industry contacts in Mumbai, New Delhi and Hyderabad;
•Meetings with Indian Government officials;
•Hospital tours to interact with senior staff and procurement administrators;
•Networking receptions in three cities of the trade mission

The Indian healthcare industry is valued at approximately $50 billion and is expected to exceed $75 billion by 2012. The potential market for healthcare services is expected to grow at a faster pace as hospitals strive to improve operational efficiencies in managing patient records and other key systems.

• $4,537 for small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) or trade organization
• Option 2 (New Delhi and Hyderabad):
• $3,950 for large firms
• $3,275.00 for SMEs
