First and foremost I would like to recognize and thank Barnes & Thornburg LLP and Duke Energy for their sponsorship support of the statewide strategic planning initiative! While we rely heavily on volunteers to do a lot of the work, we do still have a number of costs that fall outside IHIF’s operating budget and every little bit helps us build a better product. We are in week 7 and data collection is coming along nicely! Along with the trends for entrepreneurial support, rural health matters, and early stage venture funds, we can also add STEM education initiatives to the list of frequent requests. We are starting to put committees together, so thanks to all who have already volunteered and if you haven’t there are still plenty of ways to participate! Please consider being a committee member or focus group participant. We have many ways for people to provide their input, so please don’t be shy!
