The IUPUI Office of Vice Chancellor for Research and the Indiana University Research and Technology Corporation are pleased to host the “IUPUI Innovation to Enterprise Summit”. The Summit will bring together key players from IUPUI and the Indianapolis area business community–researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate executives–to explore the challenges and opportunities faced in taking the fruits of academic research and translating these into products.
The program will include a panel session titled, “Keys to Successful Technology Commercialization: Taking University Inventions to Market. In addition, Michael J. Huber, Deputy Mayor for Economic Development for the City of Indianapolis will give the keynote address on 16 Tech: Downtown Technology District. The district is being designed and marketed to attract to Downtown Indianapolis research firms, contract service providers, and high-tech companies in such industries as information technology, health information technology, motorsports, biotechnology, and clean energy.
